  1. Behave in a respectful positive manner.

  2. Wear only NLS or GAA kit to training / tournaments.

  3. Arrive on time for training / tournaments.

  4. Thank  coaches / referee at the end of every training session / tournament verbally and with a handshake.

  5. Help clear away equipment at the end of a training session.

  6. Shake hands with opposition players and their manager at the end of games.

  7. Wear a properly fitted gumshield at training and games.

  8. Never argue with a referee or other officials.

  9. Do not leave the training area without acknowledgement from your coach / manager.  

  10. If a player breaches this code of behaviour or has shown indiscipline they will be given a first and final warning if it happens a second time in the same session the player will being given sin bin timeout. A third time in the same session will lead to the club children's officer being informed who will communicate with the child's parent / guardian.

    Parents / Guardians / Coaches guidelines

  1. Behave in a respectful positive manner when at training / games.

  2. Avoid arguing with or making negative comments towards match officials.

  3. Avoid shouting anything negative from the sideline during games.

  4. Ensure your child attends training, is not late and is collected on time.

  5. Inform us in advance if your child can not attend a training / game or may be late.

  6. Ensure your child is wearing NLS / GAA kit only at training / games.

  7. Ensure your child is wearing a properly fitted gumshield at training / games.

  8. Ensure your child has their own water for breaks during training / games.

  9. Report any child safeguarding concerns confidentially to our club children's officer
